"The M1 For Vets program was started with the simple mission that we believed could be achieved by the simple notion of get a rifle into the hands of a combat injured veteran and they will get off the couch and out onto the range. As the program grew and evolved the benefits of shooting to the veterans and the pitfalls of giveaways has made the program focus solely on our basic mission of "Adaptive Marksmanship" in the aid of recovery and reintegration. Focusing on the Adaptive Marksmanship portion of our program allows us to offer great mental and physical benefits to our combat injured veterans, by giving them a recreational activity where they can reconnect with society, fellow veterans, and find a sense of achievement again.

To accomplish this we provide loaner equipment and coaching to help a veteran get started,
